Brownie In A Mug

by Makaria Sanders

For all you after-school snackers, here is a super cool way to brighten your afternoons and help motivate you while you do your homework.

Here’s what you will need:

  • A cute mug (12 oz.)
  • 2 Tbs. butter (melted)
  • 2 Tbs. water
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1 dash salt
  • 4 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 Tbs. all-purpose flour
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)

Directions:

In your cute little mug, combine the water, butter, vanilla, and salt. Whisking in between each addition, pour in the cocoa powder, sugar, and flour. Put in the microwave for about a minute to a minute and a half. The middle should be soft, almost flowing. Don’t cook it too long– it could burn!

For a little special something, add in the whipped cream or chilled ice cream. Now all you have to do is enjoy your beautiful little brownie!
